North Central Poultry Association Legislative Reception

Join us for an evening of networking and conversation with legislators and industry leaders. This event provides an excellent opportunity to discuss issues impacting poultry and egg production in our state. Hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be provided.

This reception will take place prior to Iowa Poultry Day on the Hill on Thursday, February 12.

Iowa Poultry Day on the Hill

Come take part in the democratic process and be a voice for our industry. Attendees will gather and receive a briefing from NCPA Lobbyist Jill Altringer before being split into teams to meet with legislators. Meetings will conclude shortly after lunch. Lunch will be provided.

World Food Prize Foundation, 100 Locust Street, Des Moines, IA 50309 

Parking: Free parking is located on the Locust St bridge and metered parking is available around the building, both on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking ramps are located at 3rd St & Court Ave (a block and a half away on the SW corner of the building; entry is at 3rd St and Court Ave) and 4th St & Grand Ave (two blocks away on the NW corner of Locust St; entry is from Grand Ave or 4th St).

Iowa State Capitol, 1007 E Grand Ave, Des Moines, IA 50319 

Room TBD, please use the west or south guest entry doors. 

Parking: Metered parking is on a first come, first served basis. Free parking is available in the parking ramp west of the Wallace State Office Building.
